Every new journey starts with a conversation. During your consultation, we’ll look at your hair, talk about its history, your goals, and what you’re looking for. Whether you’re considering Sisterlocks, interlocks, microlocks, starter locs, or you already have locs and are looking for a new loctician, this gives us a chance to meet, talk, see, feel, and come up with a plan together.
Sisterlock Establishment
Ready to go from loose natural hair to Sisterlocks? This is where your journey officially begins.
Your Sisterlock Establishment is customized to your hair—density, length, texture, and the time needed to complete your installation.
Pricing and estimated completion time are determined during your consultation, so a consultation is required before booking.
Your establishment also includes your 2-week follow-up visit, where we’ll check your new locks, address any concerns, and make sure your journey is starting off right.

Sisterlock Retightening
Regular maintenance to keep your Sisterlocks neat, your grid clean, and your new growth under control.
$160.00
Time to tighten up those locks. 😂 We’ll retighten your new growth, clean up your grid, and get everything back nice and neat.
$160 includes up to 4 hours. Additional time is $40/hour.
To keep your locks on a healthy maintenance schedule, we’ll agree on a 6–9 week retightening rotation based on your hair and its needs. Your regular rate applies when you stay within your agreed rotation.
Appointments scheduled beyond your agreed rotation will have $5 added for each week overdue.

New Client Sisterlock Retightening

New chair, new relationship. We’ll start with a consultation to talk about your hair history, assess your locks and grid, and determine the best maintenance schedule for you before getting you tightened up.
$175 includes consultation + up to 4.5 hours. Additional time is $40/hour.
Before you leave, we’ll agree on your 6–9 week retightening rotation based on your hair and its needs. Once you're on rotation, your regular established-client rate applies when you stay on schedule. Appointments beyond your agreed rotation are $5 additional per week overdue.

Children’s Sisterlock Retightening
Little locs need love too. 💛 Keeping their Sisterlocks neat, healthy and on schedule.
$120.00
For my TUYL kids under 16, we’ll retighten the new growth, clean up the grid and get those little locs back together.
$120 includes up to 4 hours. Additional time is $40/hour.
We’ll agree on a 6–9 week rotation based on your child’s hair and its needs. The regular rate applies when appointments stay within that agreed schedule. Appointments beyond their rotation are $5 additional per week overdue.

Travel Fee
Can’t come to TUYL? TUYL can come to you. 🚗💨

2-Week Establishment Follow-Up

Your Sisterlocks are officially settling in! This follow-up gives us a chance to check your new locks, address any slippage or concerns, answer your questions, and make sure everything is starting off right.
This appointment is included with your Sisterlock Establishment and should be scheduled approximately 2 weeks after installation.
